This Weekend

This weekend my mom took me home to Richland. We saw the doctor who delivered me, and he said I am the cutest baby he ever delivered. All right, fine, he didn't say that, but I'm pretty sure it's true. I'm sure he must have at least thought it. Then we had lunch with our friends Tracy, Taylor, Jen Y. and Janelle, at the OG - can you beat soup salad and breadsticks? Although I didn't actually get any. Mom said maybe at Thanksgiving I can have something other than mushy mush. Paper mache paste and squished vegeterribles are getting old.

Saturday morning mom went to a fundraising tea party at the Women's Expo (this month is breast cancer awareness month), then we had a CAbi party hosted by the lovely Diana, where my mom definitely, definitely did not buy any clothes. At all. None. I was pretty much the hit of the party. All my mom's girlfriends love me to death.

When we got home, mom tried a mom-and-baby self portrait. See how I'm looking off to the side? You know what I'm looking at? Myself. In the mirror. I love looking at myself in the mirror. Just like momma.
I guess maybe we should buy PhotoShop. Or my mom needs to start wearing more makeup.

And hey, for those of you reading this narrative thinking it is possibly the most boring thing ever, my dad is catching up from his deployment abroad by reading the blog, so the dull detail is for him.
