
Thailand was gorgeous and hot. I didn't get to go to the beach or any of the temples due to time constraints, but I did make it to a market and Lumpini Park. I also got to drive around Bangkok and it is enormous.



That's a lizard. And a dead turtle. I went to Lumpini Park and these lizards were all over the place.

King Rama VI (statute below) commissioned Lumpini Park and the man made lake. He also invented water wheels (example seen above) to "oxygenate" the lake.


Our hotel, the Marriott Renaissance. It was AMAZING. It had only been open three weeks and we actually got to meet the owner.
