Who is that HANDSOME BOY and GROWN UP GIRL?!?
Ryanne has been begging for short hair for months and I kept saying no. Well, I never said no, I just said "Are you SURE?" and then never made her a hair appointment, which is the same as saying no I guess. But when she asked again, I figured 1) It's just hair, 2) It will grow back, and 3) I dictate so many of her choices (by necessity) that she doesn't have much control over many aspects of her life. If she wants to pick out her own clothes and choose her own hairstyle, then who am I to tell her otherwise? So, one salon appointment later they both have brand new short cuts and look adorable. Ryanne especially can't stop grinning and loves her new haircut.
