I just had to share this

Ryanne has recently started calling me mama or sometimes mommy. If she sees me, my reflection in a mirror, or my picture she will point and say, "Mama. Mama." She calls herself Baby, or sometimes Yiya which I think is Ryanne without any consonants. Well, today we went to have lunch with our friends John, MaryLu, Laura and Mari. We met at Laura's house and Ryanne walked around and played. At one point I picked her up to ask her what was on the table (sunflowers in a vase) and she told me "flower." She then looked up at the wall in front of her, which had an old fashioned, sepia tint picture of a nude lady posing, surrounded by a men's sports team. She looked at the picture, then pointed to the naked lady in the middle and said "Mama. Mama." We were all laughing hysterically. "Who is that?" asked Mari. Ryanne again pointed to this lady (who looked NOTHING like me, by the way) and repeated confidently, "Mama." It was funny. Mortifying, but funny.
